Bespoke Printing

Bespoke printing – artwork and image requirements

Image resolution and quality:

Ask customers to supply artwork that meets the following requirements:

- 300 DPI (dots per inch) at the actual size the design will be printed.

- High-resolution images that are clear, sharp and not pixelated or blurry.

- Images should ideally be supplied at their intended print size, rather than being enlarged from a smaller image.

- Avoid screenshots, images downloaded from social media, or pictures copied from websites, as these are often too low in quality for professional printing.

- Images should not be stretched, distorted or enlarged excessively, as this can reduce print quality.

- We recommend checking that text, fine details and small elements are clear and legible.

Accepted file formats:

- PNG (particularly for designs requiring a transparent background).

- PDF (preferably print-ready and high quality).

- JPEG/JPG

- EPS

- SVG

- PSD

Transparent backgrounds

- Where a design is intended to print without a background, please supply the artwork as a PNG with a transparent background.

- White backgrounds are not transparent and may be printed as part of the design.

- Please ensure that any unwanted backgrounds have been removed before submitting artwork.

- Check that the edges of the design are clean and free from unwanted white outlines or background remnants.

Colour requirements

Colour can sometimes appear differently on a computer screen compared with the finished printed product.

- Please be aware that colours displayed on screens may differ slightly from the final printed result.

- Where colour accuracy is important, please provide CMYK colour values.

- RGB images may require conversion for printing, which can result in slight colour variations.

- We cannot guarantee an exact colour match between supplied artwork and the finished garment.

- Colours may also appear differently depending on the colour of the T-shirt being printed.

Artwork sizing and positioning

- Please advise us of your preferred print size and positioning (e.g. front, back, above hoody pocket etc)

- If no specific dimensions are provided, we will use our standard print sizing and positioning.

- Artwork may need to be resized to suit the garment and print area.

- Designs with very fine lines, tiny text or intricate details may not reproduce accurately.

- We may contact you if your artwork needs adjusting before printing.

Copyright and ownership

Customers should confirm that:

- They own the rights to the artwork or have permission to use it.
